About

Heyo! I'm Eve, my pronouns are they/them, and this here is my first website I've ever really created and maintained. I'm a 20-something non-binary college student focusing on balancing my mental health. I go by a few aliases over the interwebs, predominantly 'dorkbutt.' I really want this website to thrive with knowledge for other people to use. There will be plenty of locations where I provide extensive lists of either links or topics and gush about details.

Studying at the Ohio State University with a gravitation towards Journalism and Computer Science. Here will hopefully allow me to pursue my other interests as I help to document parts of the web I spend time on, share what I find, and more.

Coding proficiencies: None really, tried C and am learning Java in school. And enough HTML & CSS to conjure up this website.

About the Website

This is a hand-made website with HTML and CSS and the first website I've ever created so I am learning a lot as this goes on. Getting that directory up there to work was perhaps what took me the longest before really getting this project off its feet.

I was heavily inspired by Rekka Bellum's website, Devine Lu Linvega's website, their Hundred Rabbits website, and a multitude of others primarily from the Merveilles community.

There are two methods by which I will provide links. The first is to embed hyperlinks into particular words or phrases and have them be underlined as seen above. For most content on the web, when something is underlined it tends to mean that a link is attached to it (they also tend to come in a shade of blue, but I have styled my website to be mostly monochromatic). But, there comes a time when I write structured informative pieces like wiki entries and I will instead post the link in-full at the very bottom of the page and have a citation number where it is referenced. Upon clicking this number in the original text, it will direct you to where it is in the footnotes along with the rest of the links.

June * Deliberated for a bit.
* Complicated the website to suit my "future" self.
* May be regretting how I laid this website out.
