Yeah they'll get the world, but they'll lose it. It won't be fulfilling to them in the slightest, and will desire more while everything gets pulled away from them. They'll be in denial, interrogating whether which had just been given to them truly was what they wanted. But they'll sink into a pit of despair as they'll decide, no, that wasn't it, more must be desired. Greed takes over and the idea of completion is washed away. There will be no concept of "content" with this person as they'll always need something more.
